With Google's contribution to this sector you can create professional web sites with no special skills or publishing knowledge. The interface has improved a bit since the Google Page Creator days but it still isn't as intuitive as you'd expect and the templates aren't brilliant yet.

A lot of Google products have been much improved design-wise recently so maybe they'll eventually get round to this. You do get the feeling, though, that it's just there because Microsoft have something similar.
